"Logansteno: Bought a VW?" (logansteno)

That damn E30 sold yesterday not much longer after he emailed me.
It was on Craigslist for TWO DAYS and it sold. Damn manual E30 enthusiast desirability.
Back to looking at Blazers I suppose... Unless I can find another cheap E30 or maybe E36.

*Eff dat, dip into the college fund and get an E92 V8 M3. Who cares about the future, you might die before you get there. Have fun now before it's too late!
*(This is terrible advice and you are by no means allowed to act on it)

Maybe something better will come along like an IX or an IS whose owner doesn't know about it.

I couldn't anyway, my college fund is nonexistent!

I've already encountered the clueless IX owner, and that car sold before I could get it as well.
I've had like 4 E30s slip through my fingers now.

*THATS EVEN BETTER, just take a few grand, put it down on an V8 M3, and pay for it in a 144 month auto loan! Tiny payments for a small amount of time in exchange for fun now. Nevermind tomorrow, live for today!
*(ABSOLUTELY FUCKKIN AWFUL ADVICE, DO NOT DO IT)

Damn! That was quick even for an eta. An S54 is still a plug and play swap for the most part though, my plan for an eventual E30 project.
Good luck with the search!

In regards to the link you posted, anyone who'd trade a 328i for, specifically, a Tiburon, has questionable taste at best and should be considered with great scrutiny. That said, an e36 is not a terrible option. The coupes look better than the sedan in most people's opinions, which has resulted in M3 sedans having a really attractive prices ($5-10k, depending on condition). Dare I say, you might be able to find e36s cheaper than e30s these days.
